A trip to Tasmania for a wedding

Earlier this month spent a week in Tasmania... the first time I've been back since returning to live in Canberra. It was great catching up with family and friends, but the primary reason we headed down was to celebrate my aunt getting married!

I love getting out my SLR camera for these occasions and having a play around with capturing some beautiful memories so I thought I'd share a few :)

The wedding was held at the rotunda in the middle of St David's Park, which is quite central in Hobart. The weather couldn't have been more perfect, a reflection of the wedding itself I have to say!

My aunt asked me to play a violin piece during the signing of the register, and my wonderful partner accompanied me on guitar.

The couple looked so incredibly happy on their special day and it was such an honour to be part of it! The party that followed the ceremony was relaxed and reflected the couple with every detail.

Congratulations Roxana and Andrew! Wishing you all the very best for your future together. As a wedding gift, I stitched for them a small heart embroidery which I designed. I hope it serves as a little keepsake to sit alongside photos of this wonderful day!

Until next time x

  2. Hope you had a great time at celebrations of wedding. My friend is planning her engagement party at one of the unique NYC wedding venues in a couple of months. She wants to make her day perfect. Hope all her dreams come true.
