So much to tell!

Sorry I've been somewhat absent of late, it's been a busy few weeks!

It's been a little man's third birthday…

And a little miss's baptism…

I was crazy enough to have a combined celebration at my house a few weeks ago. It was great to have to many family and friends able to join in our special moments.

By the end of the party all the balloons had been pulled together into one bunch, and I just loved how they looked…

In the last few weeks I've been busy quilting…

And stitching…

Alex's little 'disappearing 9 patch' is finished, and it was the perfect gift for his third birthday. I've taken better photos of the finished quilt but will have to share with you another time as I'm currently interstate and just realised I forgot to upload the photos onto my computer before I left home!

The stitching above is now finished, and again I'll have to share pics of the completed block when I'm back home. I felt honoured to stitch a block for Rosalie Quinlan to be part of a sample of her latest quilt 'Simply Blessed'. I really enjoyed throwing myself into this stitching, it's a lovely design and the variegated thread I was sent looked beautiful against the cream linen. I sent Rosalie the completed block earlier this week, then quickly got myself and the kids organised for our little holiday… busy days! It's also looking like I'll be going back to work once I get back home, so that will be an interesting juggle of all things life!

Here's a last pic of my cheeky children, snuggled up under Alex's new lap quilt…

Until next time xx
