The nights have quickly turned cold here, perfect for curling up under a quilt and relaxing in front of the TV with some stitching... or even better, hand-quilting that very same quilt that's keeping you warm!
Alex's quilt has been getting attention a lot of attention lately, and I'm so excited that it's nearly finished! I'm really happy with how the quilting is turning out—I've not done much hand quilting before, and not using this heavier pearl thread which just seems to glide. Progress seems to be coming along really quickly, and I just have a little bit left that I want to add.
I have also started stitching a label for the back. Alex loves seeing me working on his 'blanket' and asking when he can use it.... hopefully soon!
